Steve Springs - Pilot - Steve @ SoutheastOverland . com
Steve grew up enjoying the outdoors. He traveled across South Carolina hunting, fishing, camping and hiking with his father, grandfather and The Boy Scouts as a child. As a teenager he enjoyed backpacking, racing mountain bikes, and whitewater kayaking. Steve's father and grandfather taught him to respect the outdoors and to leave nature unspoiled for the next visitor or venturer. After college, Steve worked for several consulting firms before starting his own firm with his wife, Two Springs Consulting LLC. Two Springs focuses on Geographic Information Systems & Global Positioning Systems (custom mapping), environmental planning, environmental and human toxicology, microbiology and toxicology, and greenspace/recreation planning which luckily allows Steve to spend much of his work time in the out of doors.

Alison Springs - Navigator and Boss - Ali @ SoutheastOverland . com
Alison enjoys hiking, fishing (maybe we should define this more as feeding the fish), mountain biking (while not falling), camping, and nature watching. She is great at helping Steve pick out new destinations and loves exploring the out of doors. When our vehicle stops, Ali immediately hops out, grabs a backpack and is ready to hit the trails for a long hike! She is also great at keeping Steve in line and mostly out of trouble - even though she does fall down on these duties at times, but we forgive her!

Yes - those are off-road flip flops.

Cruiser Springs - Chief of Morale Services
Cruiser (aka: Crew, Crew-Baby, Big Baby, Ding Bat and Ralph) is Chief of Morale Services as he can make almost anyone smile. Crew is NOT good at riding in a vehicle so we have to take the curves very easy or we will be reminded as to how he earned his nickname 'Ralph.' We found this out heading down SC Hwy 178 through Rocky Bottom. Crew has a nose that can smell anything and he loves bird watching, especially fat robins. Crew is sweet, but unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) he is dumb as dirt. Ever seen the movie "Lion King?" Picture the dumb hyena...yeah...

Jack Springs - Instigator
Need we say more past Jack's title? Jack, (aka: Jack-a-Moe-the-destroyer, and whose other nicknames he has earned we can not list here out of decency) rides great in a vehicle and is a good camp watch dog. He is a Parson Russell Terrier though (hence his name) and he is excellent at instigating trouble! He has a tendency to give out occasionally on hikes. Even though he acts tough, he sometimes has to be carried several miles out of the woods.
